  • Can V-Ray parameters be controlled by rubys?

I was thinking, is V-Ray parameters editable from ruby scripts? I'm curious, because if they are, then maybe the SU ruby gurus can do some neat stuff. I'm thinking first and foremost of lights. A third party light manager....
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Nope, not at the moment. There are some minor things exposed, but nothing that could make any sort of adjustments to settings or scenes. We'll see what happens for this with the next full version, but there are a lot of things that are higher up on the list than this at the moment.

Thomthom, this could be out of topic, but how great it could be if would be possible to use IES Lights ( Lithonia Lights for example, witch is free)?
But, the big problem is that SketchUp, and not V-ray should implement this...in the way 3DS Max support IES Lights.
