No offense, but this sounds like you want people to bump your thread every day so it sits at the top of the forum constantly.... count me out.

I think it sounds like a good idea. Sharing them "what if..." experiments.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Don't get your argument... if it's useful activity in the thread... why would anyone have an empty thread bumped? makes no sense to me.

Re: 365 days, 365 experiments, Vray for Sketch Up interior design

Sorry if I came across as harsh, but my comment was prompted by the title: "365 days, 365 experiments, Vray for Sketch Up interior design". That immediately sounds to me like you intend to (or want other people to) post a reply in this topic every single day... which logically would mean that a) you want to have your thread at the top of the board constantly and b) it's more important to post anything just as long as there's a post every day. In other words there will be lots of posts which are pretty much just bumps.

I just don't get the point of posting this sort of thread rather than asking an actual question or posting a short tutorial, or description of a process or workaround for common problems. If the idea was that this thread should contain useful "experiments" and people started posting in it, it would soon be pretty useless searching though hundreds of replies when the topic title tells you almost nothing about the contents... it's just not the way forums work IMO. Easily searchable forums are way more useful to beginnners (and experts) than a handful of catch-all threads with hundreds of replies.

It's also a bit of shame that you didn't wait until you actually had an "experiment" to post before you created the topic, it reminded me a little of a kid over at the Sketchucation forums who recently created a thread in the Gallery which simply announced that he would be posting his work in that thread in the future, like he was marking his territory! LOL
Threads like Nomeradona's excellent Tutorials and Tips thread which he started with the best beginner's guide to VfSU I've seen are much more useful IMO.

I guess I just read too much into your topic title, you obviously meant well, but I was reminded of bad forum etiquette examples I've seen appearing elsewhere more and more often.

            Regards,
            Jackson

              fatemeh,
I am a beginner and I am having hard time learning Vray for sketchup.
I hope your lessons will help me understand Vray more.
