  • Save DRSpawner log?

    Is it possible to make DRSpawner save the console output to a file?
    Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

        No, nothing to do with space-time or not observing the cat...

        We've been working on getting the spawner to run as a service. So when the spawner is run as a service, it does produce a log. When its run just as a normal app, it doesn't.

          Right, I see. No cats, just a future thing.

          It occurred to me this morning that it'd be useful after a network render had turned out weird. Turns out that the firewall on one of the comps had blocked access to our server where all textures where located so it didn't render any maps. Got the hints to what it was by looking at the logs. So I thought it'd be nice to have a log in case one of the render cows shut down or something else causing the Spawner window to disappear.

            Not to far in the future. We're testing now, and it doesn't even actually change the spawner, so it possible that it will be made available to the people who express an interest.
