    While I'm at it - there is a glow coming from behind the storage boxes on the bottom shelf, on the left - wierd.
    If either material is set to exactly white (255,255,255), then that's most likely where the issue lies. Colors like that will cause oddities because the math behind the scenes would not allow for any decrease in light intensity due to color from those kinds of materials. To boot, those surfaces are fairly close together, meaning that there will be even less light decay because of that proximity.

    No decrease in light energy due to color + no decrease in light energy due to proximity = odd glowy things

      Thanks Damien - Spooky! I'll fix that.

      Halfing the 6000x6000px textures to 6000x3000, as you would expect, has sorted out my memory problem, with no loss of detail and its rendering fine.

      Gives me some headroom to improve other textures now!
