  • Final Rendering in SU

I have been trying to do a final rendering in vray for SU using the external_architectural_render_gi.visopt I dowloaded from the main repository. When I do a render test with this visopt the result is good but when I try to do a final rendering following the "Large Resolution Rendering" tutorial I downloaded in the tutorial/vray for rhino section, the image result is washed out...no good. Can anyone be as kind as to give me some direction and point out were my mistake is? I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

if you rendered a raw vrimg then converted it to an exr, u will need to correct the gamma in photoshop, go to image > adjustments > exposure and set the gamma to 0.4242

Dalomar could correct me if i am wrong :-[

Yep that's most likely what it is. If the gamma value isn't .4545, then its 2.2 but the gamma value at the heart of the issue, since EXRs display with no change in color profile.
