  • How to initiate vray sun... Read seveal post, cant seem to find it

    Hello and thank you,

very new and after many hours reading the manual and looking through posts hoping not to put a duplicate post up, I was not able to find an answer.

How do I initiate, or open, or control vray in Sketchup. I recently started using both and was reading through the manual and wasn't able to get it right. I feel like I'm close, I recently turn one "sky" from the Environment > GI (Skylight) Material editor and found some values to play with, but according to the manual and a few tutorials, playing with these setting was not a good idea.

To turn on the vray I'm supposed to type "sunlight" into a console, I don't seem to know where there is a console in Sketchup. I found the Ruby console but that didn't work.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Bo

This might sound like a silly question, but you are using V-Ray for SketchUp as opposed to another V-Ray plug-in aren't you? VfSU (and its automatic sun setup) is easily accessible via the SU toolbar which appears as soon as you install VfSU.
    SU 2018 + VfSU 4.0
