please some one tell me how to make alpha images from the ps....is there is any method of saving a channel...!!!

Re: alpha images from photoshop .....

Depends on the file format. TIFF files will have an alpha channel which you can select from the channel list in PS.

With PNG images you can right click the layer thumbnail and choose "Select Pixels". Then when you have the selection, make a new layer and fill it black. Then fill the underlying layer white.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

hi, how can i add trees from my rendered image from sketchup? taking pictures of trees and masking them is a tedious job, is there any faster way?

Sure, but finding good free resources usually takes longer that buying a known good one.

I agree. aseptically if you in a hurry, but if you have the time why waste money?
In the end it comes to what you have more, time or money?

True. It's all about much much your time costs.

It may just be me, but time is by far more valuable than money. I find that more often that not people short change their time and most of the time its a disservice to themselves. The reality of a plant collection is that they wind up being about $100 bucks a dvd. I don't know about most of you guys, but I would estimate that someone doing high end visualization has a billable rate of much more than $100 bucks...If think you could put together a professional level collection of a couple dozen plants in less than an hour or even just an hour or two, then I could see it being worth it, but I know I couldn't...Long story short, I think their worth it, and I think everyone's time is better spent on putting together an actual image than mindless assets

Time far more valuable than money, I agree. But what i meant is take this case for example:
goutham posted a question about cutout trees, it took two weeks for someone (me for this matter) to give him a free place. so lets say those two weeks he waited for an answer, so if you have time to wait and he's not in a hurry, he just saved 100$.
