  • Render ID or Material ID ?

    I want to make this tutorial :

    does Render ID or Material ID work on VRay for SU ? I have just a black render with Material ID.

    Render ID will work. Material ID is one of the unsupported channels at the moment.

        RenderID colours each separate object a different colour. Doesn't take into account materials.
        Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

          I'm looking for something to separate the materials.

            Are they contained in their own separate groups/components? That's what defines an Object for the RenderID. It won't treat unconnected geometry as separate objects.
            Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
