This is the Tips, Tricks and Tutorials Forum for ASGvis' V-Ray for SketchUp. It's hard to imagine a less appropriate place to ask for advice on a competitor's software. Try asking at the Podium forums or Sketchucation. I'll answer this much: no, Podium is not better than V-Ray.

I would very much encourage you to download Podium and give it a try. If it meets your needs then use it. However, V-Ray is an extremely powerful engine and I've only seen a small handful of render engines that really compare...an even smaller number of those are available for SU.
