  • Error - Unable to create the error report.....

    Hi

    I keep getting this error:
Unable to create the error report.
Please verify that there is enough space in your TEMP folder.

I guess this is the folder:
    C:\ProgramData\ASGvis
I have 3GB free. VRay seems to create some materials that have no size (0 kb) in this folder.

I have read that it might have something t do with linked materials. But what is a linked material ? is it a bug ?

I need to get my render finshed

    Thanks
    Jorgensen

I'd actually assume its a read/write permission issue on that folder. If there's some way you can enable access, then I'd try that. Other than that I'm out of ideas though.

      Hi dalomar

It seems that if I copy the model to a new file the problem seems solved. So it might not be a permission issue... ?

I have the same problem, everytime I try to link a material. Its quite weird really, it started to happen only this last week! I have over 20gb free in each of my 3 HDs.

It happens everytime I click the render button after linking a material. If the scene has no linked materials, it renders just fine.

I have Vista64 btw. I wonder if this is happening only to Vista users.

That error message btw is not only for VRAY... I googled it and several other programs are displaying the same message (but there is no clear answer to any of them)

Btw, copying to model to another file hasnt helped me. In fact, even if I create a cube model and link a material, that will happen (and the sad part is that the error DID NOT happen just a few weeks ago!)
