Does anyone have or can recommend some good settings for Aerial Floor Plans. I have used my interior renderings but put the plan in a box with some lights, that works ok, but still looks a little cartoony. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Re: Aerial Floor Plans

I'm currently experimenting with a aerial floor plan. When I get a little further along, I'll share some results.

I starting with the high-quality-studio visopt that came with vray. I changed to a physical camera. Now I'm adding a large rectangular light high above combined with rectagular lights in each of the rooms.

Can anyone tell me the solution to get rid of the 'fuzzyness' on the walls. I think it has to do with the relective property of the floor. Thanks!

        Re: Aerial Floor Plans

This is what I came up with at the end of day on Friday...

Not to bad, still a lot of tweaking to do.

This is another small renovation I was doing, a little dark in spots but the same concept.

Your image is starting out good, I believe the fuzzyness is the shadows. I put my model in a "box" with the light on top to create soft shadows, then added some angled lights lower and angled around the top of the floor plan. Let me know if this helps
