trouble with animation

hi guys!

i´m having trouble with animation....i´ve read several times all the posts i found here , but none of them helped...

my problem is:
i´m trying to render an animation with 600 scenes. I´d like to render each sketchup scene as a separate image, so i´m not expecting vray to render any aditional interpolated transitions. However, till now, i wasn´t able to achieve this... I can get vray rendered multiple scenes, but what´s annoying is that it renders always the first scene again and again.

My settings are:

Vray settings:
*batch render ON
*i´ve defined an output folder and filename in "Save File" box
*In "Output" tab, i´ve checked "animation" ON
* I´ve defined a custom FPS = 1

Sketchup settings

I´ve tried endless combinations... but these are the ones that i think that should work , but aren´t...

Animation settings:
Scene transitions = 0, and checkbox is currently empty (that would be...scene transitions OFF)
Scene delay = 1

Please help me guys! I´m completely stuck with this...

pd: i generated the scenes with SU animate, and if i export them from sketchup directly as a movie, it works perfectly.

You need to set the SketchUp scene transition to 1 second and the scene delay to 0. Should work perfectly now.

i applied you settings to my model and there was no change.... vray continues to deliver the first scene over an over again... perhaps it´s a bug!

I compressed and uploaded the model and the .visopt, all together it´s about only 70 kb... so if anyone could help me i´d be very grateful!

i´m not using distributed rendering...
my pc specs:

amd phenom x4 9550 2.3ghz b3 revision
4gb ram ddr2 800mhz
OS: Vista ultimate 64 bit

And did you check animation in the camera panel ?
I remember some settings for the camera, the irrandiance map and light cache in case of an animation export ...

I don´t understand what you said! as far as i know, there isn´t any animation related option into the camera panel! ( Or at least i didn´t know..)
Dou you remember which specific setting are you talking about?? Thanks a lot!

I read your first post again.... you need to tick the "Enable scene transitions" box in SU's Animation Settings. NOW it will work!

Indeed, my mistake.
I thought the Physical camera still/video/cinematic was relevant

But there is the Animation : ON in the vray output settings panel..
i guess you checked it, though

I´v set scene transitions to 1 and enabled them by checking the box and also set scene delay to 0 as you told me.
Unfortunately, i still have the same problem.
i´m using google sketchup 7 pro and the last vray version.

Maybe there is some problem with the way SU animate generates the scenes... but i have no idea how to solve that...

I really don´t know what else can I do!

I already uploaded the model and my visopt setting...the model is justa box with some extracted geometry; its a test model as I have the same problem with every single model I try to animate.

The problem is with the SU Animate plugin. It "animates" by creating individual scenes with different layer visibilites. Nothing is actually moving.

At this time, V-Ray requires that the scene be static while animating. This means that V-Ray will retrieve the scene at the first frame, and only take the camera movements and sun movements into account for the rest of the animation.

Sorry for this, but that's the way the system works at the moment. I don't know a way around it, but there may be a possibility for someone to write a script that would actually batch the files for you. Having a "batch mode" is something that is reasonably high on list for the next version, but that's not coming out in any timeframe that will really help you on this one. Sorry again...
