    hi
i faced two problems in rendering:
1- i'v designed a building and i want to make render to it's elevations.. i used the paralell projection to look like 2d..but in render it looks 3d..can i fix this problem?

2- in render, the edges doesn't appear.. how can i make it appear?

    thanks..

1.: You're using Physical camera and that doesn't render parallel. http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...0&topic=5640.0

2.: V-Ray doesn't render lines. Only faces. Though you can try the Toon material, it's quicker to just save a BW image from SU and overlay in post.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

      Re: Problem in rendering

      Will V-Ray ever render lines?
We create handrails w/ just lines and they never render.
It is much faster to create railings & detail items w/ lines instead of solids
      Any suggestions or help?

Also, IRender does render lines, I hope VRay does soon ???

Thank you and let me know

Never say Never...In the future it is certainly a possibility, but at the moment it is not really on our list of features to implement. There are also some issues with the way SU thinks about lines that complicate the issue as well.
