when one adds a displacement map the white of the map extrudes from the face of the geometry, is there a setting to make the black part sink rather than the white extrude, i have a window frame sitting on a wall to get displacement... i know the displacement will push into the window frame.

Use a negative value for the texture multiplier...for future versions I'm hoping to move displacement away from being a material parameter and more to an object add on ala 3dsMax. This will hopefully allow for much easier setting of displacement depth along with more flexible results (ie displacement that goes both above and below the surface) and a few extra features along with it.Damien Alomar<br />Generally Cool Dude
