    I want to apply fog to my water but I can't make a volume in SU... anyone got a sollution for this??

    As I mentioned on SCF; could you please elaborate on what you refer to as "volume"?
    Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

      In order for that statement to make sense you have to elaborate on what you think "fog" is.... The material parameter Fog, is simply a way of coloring your object based on the thickness of your refractions. If that is what you're looking for, then "making a volume" is as simple as making sure that your geometry is closed and grouping it.

      If you're looking for "foggy" water, that's a much more involved topic, since that requires volumetrics which are currently not supported in VfSU.

        thnx for the reply... I was doing a water for pool tutorial and it had a green/blueish fog applied to the water with a low multiplier. I tried it but I don't see the change in my render u should get like the tutorial. Now I downloaded a good water material and this will do aswell. Just wanted to know why the fog didn't work.
