  • New Webinars & The Basics of Compositing

We've put up a list of webinars that we are doing for the month of June, so please check them out at the link below. The first one is going to be this coming Tuesday, June 2nd, and will cover the basics of compositing with V-Ray. This topic has come up a few times over the last month or so, and this is a chance to get everyone interested up to speed with the topic. The webinar will go over things from the basics including What is Compositing and why it is useful, an overview of assembling a composite, and the basics of doing so within Photoshop. We'll also be going over several compositing situations including quick ways of switching out materials, adjusting lighting in a "Multilight" kind of fashion, tweaking reflections, and masking objects. Everyone is welcome to attend, but please be aware that we will be using PhotoShop, so some basic knowledge there will be useful, and a working knowledge of V-Ray will be helpful as well. I really do invite everyone to attend, even if you don't intend to use compositing, as an understanding of the process will deepen your understanding of V-Ray and rendering in general. Also, this webinar is "platform agnostic", so it doesn't matter if use VfSU or VfR or both. Hope to see you all there.

Sounds good. Looking forward to it.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
