Vray shadow don't match with the sketchUp Ones

Hi there!

Well ,lately i've been having problems with the vray shadows..they just don't match with the ones projected in the Skp model...any idea??...ok, ok , i know that you may think that before i post something i must look in the forum but ..honestly i already did but no one of the suggestions given here are working.

I update the shadows in the environment seccion by pressing the m , selec sky, update and then apply...just as in the past versions i've been working with ...this started once i upgrade my Vray to the latest version (1.05.03), should i call this issue a "bug"?

However..other thing that's is different or at last i don't understand is that my background are getting always black, why? i just press render to see the previews and no physical sun or sky shows up in the rendered image as it used to be in my past vray version, all this is with the 1.05.03 vray version ...

any help or advise willl be welcome

The default settings where changed in SR1.5 (1.05.30) (Note that the last version is 30 - not 03)

You can load the old settings by loading 'default.visopt'

Whatever, .03 or .30....it's the same..just a tipping error ....

Everythig got "fixed" with the load of the "old" visopt settings .Many Thanks for your advise thom thom.
Another thing that i've just "discover" is that if you copy and paste your model into another new one the shadow's issue gets fixed....
( without loading any visopt) .

But in this way I lost all my previous Visopr setting (First of all Enviroment map) and ALL asgvis and user shared setting
or I've missed some stepppp?

Reloading any visopt setting will force V-Ray to reread the sun setting, so just save yours out and reload it.
