Rendering a Floor Plan : How?

Hi there,

I am new to V-ray. I have created a detailed 3D model in Sketchup, and am now trying to use Vray for Sketchup to create rendered floor plans, with soft lighting and shadows.

The renderings I've tried so far have ended with 'render canceled' or have been all black.

Do I have to create a large light source over the entire floor plan? Any advice for which settings to use to create a professional looking floor plan?

I would really appreciate any help, advice, or example files.

switch the GI on and add some lights...... and maybe u can render a section cut http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?It...0&topic=3631.0 (never tried this)
