Hi, I'm very new to Vray for sketchup - just at the very early experimental stage. I'm having some trouble finding good materials. Can anybody point me in the right direction??

James, don't forget to look into the material settings. You will learn allot. I'll search for more, but it will take a while. I have to dig hard in the forum, but it's all in here.....somewere :P
I have learnt how to edit my own materials but I was just wondering why this particular material may not be working. Thank you for another good link ;D
Stefanq, thank you for your endeavours but after downloading that matrial library - when i try to import any of those materials i'm gettin the same error message 'invalid asgvis material file'.
I'm not sure how to use these materials. I have set up a scene with materials I have created myself but I would like to experiment with some ready made downloadable materials.
If anybody could shed any light on the above it would be much appreciated. I really dont know how to import these materials into my model. Could it be that they dont work with the older version of Vray? ???
the newest release of V-Ray included some changes to the way materials are handled by the software and as a direct result our material library had to be updated.
