  • Someone can help with this?

    Hi to all:

I cam out with a post for a member in Sketchup education forums that he use Vray for sketchup and he make this render that I attach. He says that he play with the trial and he does not remember the settings. Can someone figure out the settings or is fake?, mean do that in MAX with FUR?

The reason I ask this is because I need a Grass for a perfect exterior and this would be great. I look in to the grass made here in the forum in sketchup and is not what I want.

I know is a Is a challenge but I think there is alot of brilliant minds in this forum. I need the settings may be for all will be good and easy like the post for the "Lets make a rug" ....

    Thank you for your help.

That's pretty standard V-Ray displacement grass, easily achievable in VfSU. The V-Ray Grass Disp 1 material downloadable from the ASGvis site will create very similar results straight off the bat and with a little tweaking you should have no problem recreating these images.

I am still see not a single one to make this happened, the grass examples are too small or either not real like the micha's grass, I've ask for the challenge and someone make this happened not just for me for all, and make a tutorial and get the same results as the post to identify if we can do that in VFSU. I am sorry but is easy to say oh yeah you can do that, well show to all of us and make a simple tutorial for beginners with step by step clear settings like the easy totorial made for rug....

Again is a challenge and still open.... :'(

There are years of experience here on this site, spanning the evolution of vray, and most of it is documented here.

You have tried displacement, and persumably discovered its drawbacks, then there is Michas method - explained very well by the man himself. The only remaining way is to photoshop the grass in. Have you tried that? Other users seem to get by with one of these methods and they are well explained. Some of the stunning images posted here are a testiment to the success of these approaches, so you need to choose the one that suits your particular circumstances.
            Good Luck.
