  • Solved my runtime crash error: Now I need an alternative visopt...

Okay. So I continually received runtime errors and messages regarding temp folders EVERY SINGLE TIME i attempted to render with a particular visopt (a perfect one - White Corrected 3, downloaded from this site).

After cleaning out my temp folder and hard drive (cleaned 80 GB worth and moved them to an external) and uninstalled and reinstalled both SU and Vray, I finally discovered that the runtime errors had to do the visopt settings, settings that I've used 104323 times before and only now do they fail.

"White Corrected 3" has strong sunlight and casts very clear shadows. The following is a sample with the setting:

But now since I can no longer use this setting safely, I am having a hard time getting back to these results, mainly because there is still a number of visopt settings that I have yet to discover their potential to alter/change an image. Many of the settings I unsure of what they even do, so you can tell its difficult when I have a specific atmosphere I'm trying to create and everytime I even run a trial render, it takes 5-6 minutes to kick in, so naturally i dont have the time to run many many many trials and tweak one step at a time.

Attached also are the settings for White Corrected 3. By the way, I've already tried starting with a default and then change the default's settings to match White Corrected and that fails as well. Other visopts work, they just aren't what I am after. Anyways, here are the settings for White Corrected 3:

Sorry for so many attachments and i realize it takes time to look at all the settings, but if anyone has a few free minutes and some suggestions on, i suppose, how to find an alternative to White Corrected and achieve the above image's effect, similar daylight, similar shadows...i'd be indebted to you.

    Thank you.

to me , not even changing the VISOPT settings worked.

this bug is really annoying and ASGVIS must work on it or at least discover an universal work-around to what causes the problem...
