vray for skp 7; environment

i have just downloaded vray for skp 7, and in trying to setup the options for a scene, i realised that the gi[skylight] option is completely greyed out and i cannot click on it. Why is this?
It leaves my scene completely pitch black in the final render.
How do i solve this?

Under Indirect illumination menu turn On the GI.

thank you so much 40th now that the answer is that simple i feel kinda dumb for askin.
butt and mines kinda big :P
Now i can see wat i'm rendering but the background is still black
what do i do now?

I recommend you restore the settings to default and continue from there.

To load the default settings:
In VfSU material editor window, File > restore defaults

in the material editor window there's no file option :-[

i found file in the options window and i restored default settings however the gi is turned off again

Correct. If you want your background to be vray sky (instead of black), set your background type to Sky.
