You need to apply the opacity map.
VfSU doesn't read the transparency info from PNG files - so you must provide that as a separate grayscale image and add that to the Transparency slot in the Diffuse layer.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Those little 2D grass clipmaps. You see how they have transparency in the Sketchup view, but when you render they end up as green squares?

Basically, any diffuse texture with a transparent bitmap - you need to extract (not convert) the transparency from.

You can use the Component Spray plugin to scatter your grass component around. http://forums.sketchucation.com/view...?f=180&t=11746 (need to be logged in to download)

                Hi MattCoops
Your render is looking better and better. I can't wait to see another shot.

                keep going!

                  im back again!
Im having a slight problem lining up all the grass perfectly?! and hints/tips!?

Edit: Obviously those little bricks around the top sill of the bricks aren't supposed to be that small lol, the material must have reset.

As you can see here (i quit the render half way through) the grass is so tricky to lay down on the ground, espceially when the layer is not flat. any help ?
