Problems with render with settings from manual.

Hi guys
I'm new here so hello to everyone. I started rendering with vray for sketchup and i have basic problem. I learned vray from this manual

i do settings from this book, without vray lights. Just basic the most simple scene render, and in this manuas render is gray without light (page 13) with soft shadows, i have something like that:

i don't know why is the difference. As i said i do everything the same step by step as in manual. And my render has crazy texture, sharp shadows and looks like i would put some light on the center but i didn't. If enyone could help me i will be wery happy. Sorry for simple question but i belive in Your help

Can you put a copy of the render you are getting on this board - would be easier to see what might be happening ?

What version of V-Ray for Sketchup do you use? (What does the About section?)
If you use the old version but are reading the manual for the new - then there will be some differences. Equally - if you're reading the manual for the old, but using the new version...
