  • VRay Reflection Problems!!!

Anyone know the reasoning for this non-sense? (the blotchyness around the lights) Please enlighten me. We have to finish these renders for a client and start animations pronto. So any insight will help! Thanks again for looking.

p.s. All the lights are objects with emissive properties. Can lights have a chrome like material inside the can and my "artichoke" lamp was grouped, so it did not show above the table. I thought that if I unchecked "trace reflections" under the Chrome material it would help, but does not cure the problem.

    Thanks!

    Re: VRay Reflection Problems!!!

Don't use emissive materials for this type of spotlight: use V-Ray omni lights instead. Emissive materials have very limited uses, panel lighting, fluorescent tubes etc. For lighting spaces it's often best to try to use V-Ray omni and rectangular lights as much as possible and just use emissive materials for effect.
