can someone be so kind as to share a good displacement map with me. the ones i have created are crap.

look for teofas' lets make a rug (tutorial for beginners) in this forum. displacement maps are just the desaturated image of the original. to achieve a good displacement, change the intensity of your map. i think the white part will be pulled upward, black part downwards.
