Problems importing materials

I'm having trouble importing materials created from one model into another..... I have nice materials created in certain models and would like to use them in my current model.

I have exported the materials from the old models and saved them as vismats. When I try to import the material into a newer sketchup model I get the following error message:

"native material doesn't exist - we can't link to a non-existant material".

I am using version 1.0.0.7

I believe this version number I provided is incorrect..... It is two vrays ago i think. not sure of the exact number. has anyone got any ideas/solutions for my problem ???

Can nobody help me with this??? unfortunately i'm still getting the same problem. I dont understand why vray says the material doesnt exist when I have checked the materials folder and the vismat is in there.

Checked my system and the version I have is 1.00.0000
