I was just curious if anyone has figured out how the reflection and refraction works in the Maps section of the VRay Material Editor.
Most of us know by now that you have to add a reflection or refraction layer in order to give your material reflection or refraction. But, when you click on the Maps section (where you usually go to apply bump and displacement maps) there are also options to add a reflection and refraction map there. I've tried adding my reflectivity and specularity maps there to see what happens, but it looks like it has no effect on the material.
Other than the Bump and Displacement slots, do any of the other slots in the Maps section serve any purpose?
