  • DR Through Different OS?

    Hello,

I have just recently purchased a new laptop.
It's a Toshiba with Windows 7-64 bit and an Intel Core i7 processor.

I'm using it mostly for work and am in the process of putting all of my work programs on it, but I just realized that all of the computers at my job are still running on Windows XP.

If I were to do a rendering on my Windows 7 laptop, would I still be able to use my office computers as DR slaves?

I believe someone had posted a similar question, but I couldn't locate it on the forum.
    I am currently using V-Ray 1.49.01.
    SketchUp 8.0.11752
    Windows 7 Professional-64 bit
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 K655 @ 3.20GHz
8.00GB of RAM, 1.2TB Hard Drive

Yes. Windows version does not matter. It's the DR version that must match with the clients.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

should be able to render on Mac from Windows, once we patch the DR issue too
