I have recently upgraded to windows 7 and the new version of Vray 1.5. I am now experiencing lots of bugs and realize the best thing to do is to revert back to the earlier version that worked very well. Can anyone help me out with this? I need the "best" earlier version there is. My CAD manager at work neglected to realize that maybe the new version of vray might not be the best thing to upgrade to.....and deleted the original installer. Not a good idea...and now my workflow has basically stopped. Please help.

Re: Earlier Release......please
When you say "new version of V-Ray 1.5" I'm assuming you mean V-Ray 1.48.66, which is the newest version out there today.
In terms of the best earlier version (and this is just my humble opinion) I would suggest using V-Ray 1.5 (more commonly known as V-Ray 1.05.30.)
Many would say that V-Ray 1.0 is even better (and having looked at some of the amazing works on the V-Ray for SketchUp Gallery, they make a good argument).
-moderated: removed unofficial link to 1.05.30 to avoid confusion in this threadI am currently using V-Ray 1.49.01.

Re: Earlier Release......please
We were hoping to have a patch out by now, but we keep getting new reports of issues that we need to fix in this patch, and we're still waiting on the fix for DR from Chaos Group, so until then:
here's where you can officially grab 1.05.30Best regards,
