  • IES files

    Hi all..

I was testing the new IES lights in Vray but I was wondering If someone would know a place to find good IES files.... (maby whit a preview render attached)

Because I was checking on the web and I found a bunch of stuff but... I was not able to see the effects of thease IES files in a render..

    Thanks

    Re: IES files

Lithonia IES lights (download all photometric data files): http://www.lithonia.com/Photometrics.aspx
Then I'll try to find the viewer that I used when I tried 3ds max. It's stand alone, free, like the ies files. But I need to dig for that viewer, because I don't remember which one was it. The best thing with this viewer, is that there is a button (render if I remember) which gives you a preview of the actual cone of light. I'll be back when I'll find it

      Found it!

The render button I think is somewhere between navigation by description list and curve thumbnail of photometric files (those goggles)
      Good luck!
