VfSu 1.05.03 problem

I have couple of files which I modelled in SU which refuse to render textures. Instead the render is greyscale with sky colour. Vray renders other stuff no problem. Btw I have not switched on global material override and also materials do not appear in the material editor. I have also tried it with various presets but always same outcome.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this behaviour and how to solve it.
