  • 'unbiased' rendering using Vray SU

can someone post the method for using Vray to do 'unbiased' rendering...

not sure if we can really do that

(found a topic - which says one can do it using DMC and light cache

    http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?to..._next=next#new)

    is it really possible???
if yes, it would be a great help if a tutorial is made and circulated...

    thx

found a useful tutorial, which may help those seeking 'the unbiased'..

    http://vray.us/vray_tutorials/vray_p..._tracing.shtml

this is actually 'progressive path tracing' for vray which somewhat mimics the other unbiased renderers..but it is sure to give damn good results (and a good competition to those 'unbiased rendering engines' out there..)

      But isn't it terrible slow?
I've never had the patience to use unbiased renders.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

i agree with you on the rendring time...
(maybe thats why the unbiased rendering engines are now transforming to be GPU based- which also allows realtime adjustments too)..
