System parameters

Hi guys,
I would like to set the optimal parameters in the System options of Vfsu, but I do not fully understand description of this settings. Could You help me to set the optimal numbers?

here is my mac parameters:
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.26 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache (per processor): 8 MB
Memory: 6 GB

I never touch the system settings.

Basically those parameters are optimum by default. Those settings are about how V-Ray divide and subdivide the scene and how it deal with Dynamic Geometry. If you want to learn more about them please read here.
