I recently made the switch to vray and I'm loving it so far. I've been having a little trouble so far trying to replicate a material I had done previously in 3dsmax & mental ray. It is the frosted glass ceiling in the upper image. In vray I havent been able to achieve the same level of quality. The key for me is the seams between the panes of glass "catching the light", they always seem to render darker. The second image is a test scene I have been trying to perfect the material in. Right now I have a nearly transparent material with a low level of glossy reflection & refraction and a near white fog with a .5 multiplier. Any help trying to get this to look similiar to the image rendered in mental ray would be greatly appreciated.
