    Why when i apply a transparent material to an object does the object disappear (or leave just the outline) ???

    Screenshot and VfSU version number?
    Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

      Leave the color to black and click on the "m" near transparency and select "Acolor" and change the color to white. You are going to have the same transparency effect in the render and you will see the geometry in the drawing area.
