      DAVEREYES - We don't have a way of estimating the amount of ram that will be used when you render the scene. You kind of have to do some trial and error. If you're using windows, you can see how much RAM a process is using, by opening the taskmanager. (run "taskmgr" from the start menu). If you click on the processes tab, it will show you all processes that are running on your machine, and how much memory they're using.

        One last question, If I wanted to render a Image with a resolution of 1280x850 what would be the best to set the IRMAP MAX AND MIN RATES .
