Hey,

The mother board on my pc broke 2 weeks ago and I just got my pc back today, while it was getting it fixed I decided to upgrade from XP to windows 7 64 bit, Now I can't reinstal vray as my serial won't work, what do I do?????

your license is hardware dependent, if you change hardware, you have to contact us so we can reset your license. Shoot an email off to authorizations@asgvis.com with your serial number, and a brief explanation of what's going on (or link to this forum post). We try our best to process all licensing related issues within 1 business day.

Hey Devin,

Now that my serial is reset how do I activate it?

When I start sketchup it says:

You do not have a valid license for Vray for Sketchup. Please close sketchUp and run the license Configuration Wizard.

So were do I find that? Does it matter that I am installing the latest version of vray?

windows or mac?

Windows:
Start Menu->V-Ray for SketchUp->LicenseWizard

Mac:
/Applications/ASGVIS/RunVfSLicenseWizard

Upgrading to the latest version is free, and will/should work with your current license.

Hey Devin,

I found the License Wizard, it then gives me 4 options.

-Use an existing License Server
-Set up a License Server on this machine
-Demo product
-I have an offline activation file and would like to use that

Which do I pick?

I have tried the first one and pasted my serial number beside license server, it then tells me I have successfully activated my product, but when I open sketchup it tells me I don't have a valid license?
