  • Google Earth imagery not rendering properly

    hello friends.

    Versions: SU 8, VfSU 1.48.94 (sorry to post in the general forum... i have no reason to suspect this is a beta-only problem)

    I've built an urban scale model based on Google Earth imagery and the textures aren't rendering properly with VfSU. I needed a decent resolution, so I've brought about 25 Google Earth screen caps. I've exploded all images into one surface with many combined faces/textures. They appear fine in SU, but vray appears to be using one only one or two of the images and tiling them 'randomly.' See pics below.

    I'd rather not try to replace all the GE images with one large photomerged jpg - i fear i'll never get the alignment right... any ideas how to fix this?

    thanks!

    Re: Google Earth imagery not rendering properly

    hello,
    try un-grouping the base layer (the google imagery base) then re group. that should correct the problem.

    let me know if not

    kind regards
