  • another question...(using vispot)

I already questioned about how to use vismat file...since I never get the same effect that I saw from sample images...

    Its same question,, VISPOT...
I loaded vispot...and hit render... never came out at least similar...but totally in a different way..
Is there any extra step that I have to go through?

I know this is silly question,,,but im just new and really tring to learn from pros...like all guys here by studing their vispots....but never never got the rendering done like it..

Please a good advise is appreciated.

    Re: another question...(using vispot)

In terms of the materials depending of the scale and the units of your model, sometimes you have to change the bump multiplier, the texture scale, texture mapping, etc. For the visopt, depending on the scene, for example if you are rendering an interior and if it has a lot of open space and the visopt that you are using was made for an interior with less open space, your scene will be dark and you'll have to play with the physical camera to control the exposure. That is why I'm not a fan of the saved visopt. I usually start with the default visopt.
