In VfR, DR is still being used when rendering to disc.

There appear to be something wrong with my DR - they suddenly stopped rendering today. Not even simple test scenes. Rebooting all machinery now to see if I can get some sanity.

arrgh! I've rebooted every but the main server - which I can't reboot. but the DR slaves just sit there dumb as rocks. But I can remote into them with no problems. Windows Firewall is turned off as well. I haven't got the foggiest why they suddenly stopped working... x_X

I tested the DR on build 1.48 and never worked well in any version. On the build 1.48.89, I can render using the DR just a few times, then I have to restart my SU and the slave machines.

I have been using .94 for a few weeks. Been working fine up til now. I've not had time to update to the latest beta.
But at the end of the day today I was unable to get any response from the DR slaves. They just sat there - dumb as rocks. Rebooted everything. Was thinking that I'd tomorrow restart the license server - just in a feeble desperate attempt.
Reinstall?
I'm a wee bit stomped to why they just stopped mid-day...

Hurray! Today they work!
It appear they had gone on a strike yesterday. Lets hope they play nice the rest of the day.

It just went horrible wrong. They all failed with "Error receiving DR scene (0), closing DR session"
