  • How to make a white studio scene?

Ive made several interior and exterior renders... but never a studio render...

how do you guys create those backgrounds where the background color mixes seamlessly with the white ground? What settings should I use?

If I render with only a white background and no ground, there wont be shadows on the ground and the scene looses realism... if I put a ground, its color gets different from the sky in the background...

could also try changing the sky color to white, or not using the sun/sky and just using lights

The first and the second video, show you how to create a studio setup (Realistic Glass In V-Ray for SketchUp Part 1 and 2). I think those are the videos to which Senator was referring.

Think of it how it would be done in a real studio. There won't be any sky lights there.
For studio setups you can find lots of good info if you search for how photographers set up their studio environment - then recreate that studio in your model.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.
