I would like to know how can i use the drspawner on a server? Does anyone use it like this?
At this moment i am still a student, but the possibility occurs that i am gonna help first year students on my university with sketchup. Additionally i would like to introduce V-ray with it and show them how easy it is when you are getting familiair with it.
My university is very Maya orientated and we have a server that functions as a Maya render farm. I allready once tried to make use of the server, but without any luck. But now a friend of mine he needs a lot of render power for his graduation research and his first mentor whats to help us creating the power.
So my question is how can we use the drspawner on a server? i will probably use my own desktop as host (core i7) this for preparing the scene and then i think i would like to use the drspawner to render... Is this possible and is there someone who can explain the method for succeeding this project.
