rendering with DOF

He guys, I would like to render an exterior scene with a tiny bit of DOF.
I tried a lot of camera settings but all I can get is renders with to much DOF.

I had a look in the manual and it seems that I have to lower the aperture.
It's pretty low now but still not what I want.
What else affects the DOF? (sorry I don't have any knowledge of photography).

What I'm guessing is shutterspeed and f number?

Remon - depends on which version of vray you are using. DOF doesn't work in 1.48.89, but works like a champ in the current betas

hmm yeah I'm no beta tester so just 1.48.89
