    Re: Parallel projections

the trick is to actually turn the phisical camera off... the camera gives you the perspective mode. the illumination shall come from rectangular or omnilights.
that image, by the waym seems to be made in photoshop... so dont break your mind that hard

      Re: Parallel projections

Interesting, so you turn off the physical camera?

Ok, but how do you control the lighting?

My images without the physical camera are a white out.

The f-stop, shutter speed and film speed allow me to control the light in a way I am already familiar with.

I guess I have yet to understand how to control the lighting without the physical camera.

      Please advise.

The physical sun is EXTREMELY bright, so you'll either need to turn it off, or lower it's intensity significantly.

try keeping de physical camera on... but, use the Field Of View to modify the perspective... whit this tool you can give more perspective to the 3d model.. or you can give any.
i've try it in my last project and it worked perfect....

            Re: Parallel projections

It's been posted about before. If you go to plan view and set your sketchup perspective view FOV to 1.0 then fit all, you should have it close to straight. You can then go to your vray camera settings and increase your focal length to something like 2000 or 4000mm. You will still have a faint outline of the walls, but that's easy to mask out.
