Depth of field not adjusting

Hi,

No matter what numbers I place in the DoF settings or have override focal dist on or off, the focal distance renders exactly the same each time. Am I missing something here? I'm using a physical still camera in my scene, drawing in mm.

Using SUP8 and VRay 1.48.89.

I need to have this rendered by tomorrow, so some immediate help would be hugely appreciated!

Are you measuring the distance between the camera and the object? Usually that is all the information you will need and then plug the distance into the Override Focal Distance and then alter your aperture to the amount you desire.

Tried that. Numbers don't make any difference, from 0.0001 to tens of thousands. DoF always the same.

Also tried setting up a new scene using a couple of boxes and no phyiscal camera, and can't get DoF whatsover.

We fixed some issues with DOF in our latest beta if you want to give that a try.

Where can I download the beta? I gather I just uninstalle my current version, install the beta and it'll detect the licence?

Normally I'd tell you to go to the beta signup thread, but we can skip that step this time. I've added you to the beta testing group. Head over to the V-Ray for SketchUp Beta Testing forum to get the latest version. Keep in mind, this is a beta version. It will use your existing license, but there may be some bugs we are not aware of yet, so be cautious, and backup your work!

i can not change de dof effect in the 1.49.00 version. It keeps the same. I'm able to get some dof but it isn't ok

Works fine on work desktop too.

The only issue is my materials were a bit lighter and needed re-adjusted.
