Hello all,

anyone made a Polycarbonate material?
Ive had some goes at it but it looks rubbish!

Omar posted some images with what I thought was very good material for polycarbonate.

Omar - if you have a chance - can you share the settings you used for this material? I'd be interested to know too.

oko... i'll upload the scene to nomeradona's post. but i think it's only a clear glass with a little bit less of reflectivness...

thanks for the efforts guys, but I'm after something like the Laban dance studio by herzog and de meuren...

any theories?

Are you talking about translucent materials? A quick way to create that effect is to change to refraction glossiness to less 1.0 and maybe add some fog color to make it smoother. (refraction alone gives something of a frosted glass look)
