What you mean? 1280x1024 dpi is not a image format, it is a resolution or dimension. Do you mean if V-Ray can render that resolution of if you can use and image with that dimension as a texture on the material?
Yes, you can make a render in that resolution. Yes, you could use a image with that dimension for a material, but be careful, the high resolution image consume more memory. So you could run out of memory and SU could crash if your scene is too big and if you have too many high resolution images.

I'm curious about the things that i highlighted, so that mean we cannot make any big scene? say.....like 100mb++ per files? My problem is....its not crash, but it just the render doesn't come out after the render button are pushed. :
