  • Crazy little thing called LIGHTS

I am a vray begineer, and first thing I've noticed when I started using this program is problem with lights.
By using default settings of vray, none of them seem to work. When I render a scene, lights doesn't appear. Rectangular light is shown as a black rectangular.

I believe there is a simply solution of this, but I haven't figure it out.

I appreciate if someone knows a solution of this.

    Thx!

    Hi shone.

Have you tried increasing the light's intensity? Try crazy numbers, maybe thousands or even bigger figures. If your physical camera is on, you need to use big numbers as the global illumination clashes with the physical camera.

If it doesn't work, it's possible that your rectangular lights are facing the wrong way. Try to make sure the front face(white side) of the rectangle is facing the area you want to light up.
