  • Vray problem for almost a big model 150 MB helppp plz :(

    hello everybody
    i have modeled an auditorium with 700 seats and when i press the render it doesnt work at all , it was working before when my model was simpler 50 seats ..
    i have sketchup 8 pro with vray 1.48
    and windows vista with 2GB ram


    plz tell me what to do i need to render my model

    umm you have big problem
    what is this model 150mb ? ???
    I made biggest model it was 75 mb
    I think you need you check to your model I think there something wrong there maybe you used big size texture or add some photo in side SU and you need to upgrade your computer too

      I agree with JAMALIUTLO, 150 mb for a single model is a bit too much, usually it happens because of the textures that are way too big. Check them and if they are heavy just resize them is PS or whatever you use for your photo editing needs. Also look for the patch on this forum somewhere that allows you to use up to two GB o ram for your sketchup. Originally SU was limited to 1GB so patch was a great help, however I've heard that te latest update for SU fixed that issue so you might want to update your SU if you haven't done that yet. Lastly 2GB of ram on your computer is just not enough , RAM is pretty cheap this days so I would consider an upgrade.
